Capital City Culinary & Cultural Tour

The Capital City Culinary & Cultural Tour is a 2.5-hour small-group walking tour through the heart of downtown Boise — the Capitol District, Old Boise, and the historic Basque Block. You’ll taste your way through award-winning local restaurants, including authentic Basque food and wine, while a local guide shares the city’s history, architecture, and culture. Every tasting, tax, and gratuity is included, plus a local wine or beverage pairing. $139 adult / $99 child, small groups capped at 12.

What to Expect

Your local guide greets you with a smile 15 minutes before start time, near the entrance to the first tasting spot. After a round of friendly introductions, you’re off on a 2.5-hour journey through the Capitol District and Boise’s cultural heart, visiting several of our favorite downtown dining spots — including the Basque Block.

Between tastings, you’ll stroll the main streets and alleyways of our growing downtown and step into its early days as Idaho’s territorial capital, its Basque heritage, and its celebrated public art. Your enthusiastic local guide shares the architectural gems, local lore, and hidden corners most visitors — and plenty of locals — never see.
