Have questions? Here’s the most frequently asked.
Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?
Tickets must be purchased in advance as tours frequently sell out quickly. To increase your chances of getting the day, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book your tour as far in advance as possible. Tickets can be purchased either online via our website with Visa/AMEX/MasterCard or by calling (208) 515-3439. Cash and/or walk-up reservations are not accepted on the day of the tours.
Does the tour end at the same place we meet?
No, our tours do not finish at the exact same location as the meeting point. Detailed instructions (with starting point) and guidance will be provided after ticket purchase via email. Most end points are within walking distance of the starting point.
How much food will be served on the tour?
While it will vary depending on the tour experience, Indulge Boise Idaho Food Tours serve enough food that, for most participants, lunch/dinner afterwards is not necessary. Our intention is that, with the carefully crafted schedule of food and drink tastings, along with coordinated stops for architectural, cultural, and historical insight, most participants are comfortably full after our tours. Please understand that our food tours are not intended to replace breakfast and lunch combined, so please consider eating a light snack before the tour.
What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?
Please provide any dietary restrictions (i.e. vegetarian, vegan, diabetic, allergy, etc.) when you purchase your tour ticket(s). If we know in advance, we will work with the restaurants and try our best to make the appropriate substitutions whenever possible, though not guaranteed.
How much walking is involved? Is it a fast-paced tour?
Our tours typically last 2 to 3.5 hours, so most reasonably active individuals should be able to handle the walks. Most tours do not include walking up (or down) hills or inclines and range from 1/2 a mile to 1 1/2 miles from start to finish. The tour guide leads the group on a moderately paced walk with at least two sit-down locations incorporated into each tour. While the stops will include approximately 30-45 minutes of sitting, be prepared to be standing or walking for the majority of the tour.
