Indulge Boise Food Tours Launches Food & Walking Tour June 3

Indulge Boise Food Tours announced today that it will launch its Treasure Valley-based food & walking tours with its signature tour the “Historic Downtown Boise Food & Cultural Tour” on Friday, June 3.

Indulge Boise’s vision is to celebrate the wonderful offerings that exist in the community, educate tour guests about fresh ingredients and new culinary perspectives, create opportunities for local residents and visitors to the Treasure Valley to explore various neighborhoods throughout the city, promote & support local businesses, and provide another entertainment option where people can connect.

Tour guests are invited to “Discover Boise’s Culinary & Cultural Treasures” by taking Indulge Boise’s Historic Downtown Boise Food & Cultural Tour where they’ll stroll through downtown tasting Boise’s finest cuisine, viewing the city’s architectural treasures, learning interesting tidbits about the city’s extraordinary history and gaining further insight into its unique culture.

The tour, which lasts approximately 3 hours, will take guests on a walk through select downtown neighborhoods including Old Historic Boise, the Capitol District, and Central Downtown. In addition to visiting many important local landmarks, guests will receive a VIP behind-the-scenes journey into the culinary world via 7-8 food tastings at select local restaurants, eateries, food trucks, and specialty shops.

Several iconic, award-winning downtown eateries are included in the signature tour including Bleubird Boise, Olivin Olive Oil & Vinegar Taproom, BACON, The Basque Market, Guru Donuts, Mai Thai Restaurant & Bar, and The Chocolat Bar.

Saturday tours include two stops at the Boise Farmers Market that incorporate tastings at Waffle Me Up and Mobley’s Craft Gelato. The tour also hopes to expose tour guests to the unique & exotic flavors found in various international cultures.

The goal of the tour is to educate, entertain, & expose local residents and visitors to the rich history and emerging culinary scene in the Treasure Valley.

The company previously announced its Indulge Boise Community Partners program. As part of this program, a portion of the proceeds from every tour ticket purchased will be donated to four local non-profit organizations. The organizations are The Salvation Army-Boise Corps, NAACP Treasure Valley Branch, Disabled American Veterans, and The CHANCE Foundation.

Tour prices start at $55 for adults. Group, child and adolescent pricing is also available. Customizable Private Group Tours are also available for companies, organizations, and teams.
