Spend an afternoon tasting the best of Boise’s world class micro breweries (and cideries, you’re gonna love this). You and a group of fellow beer lovers will be accompanied by a trained local guide on a walking tour of Downtown Boise. You will visit a variety of local pubs, micro breweries and hot spots that will feature tastings of 10+ different local beers accompanied by a few delicious bites. Along the way sample some of the finest Idaho craft beers, share a little bit of local history, discuss the thriving art scene, chat about the local craft beer phenomenon taking over Boise, and make new friends. We’ll also meet with some of the masterminds behind these locations and learn more about their craft philosophies while sampling their products and learning about the City of Trees’ award-winning emergence within industry known for the world’s undisputed king of beverages, Beer!

Tickets must be purchased in advance as tours frequently sell out quickly. To increase your chances of getting the day, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book your tour as far in advance as possible. Tickets can be purchased either online via our website with Visa/AMEX/MasterCard or by calling (208) 505-9757. Cash and/or walk-up reservations are not accepted on the day of the tours.
There are multiple tastings of a variety of different beers, which adds up to approximately four (4) beers served during the Boise Brews & Bites Tour.
You should bring with you a camera and a small bottle of water. When it’s really hot out, we recommend an application of sunscreen on exposed parts of the body, a visor/hat and a lightweight pair of sunglasses. During the cooler seasons it’s important to wear an extra layer of clothing and consider bringing gloves and a scarf. If it looks like rain we can provide you with a plastic rain poncho or umbrella.
Our tours typically last 2 to 3.5 hours, so most reasonably active individuals should be able to handle the walks. Most tours do not include walking up (or down) hills or inclines and range from 1/2 a mile to 1 1/2 miles from start to finish. The tour guide leads the group on a moderately paced walk with at least two sit-down locations incorporated into each tour. While the stops will include approximately 30-45 minutes of sitting, be prepared to be standing or walking for the majority of the tour.
Our tours will be held rain, snow or shine. Please check the weather before departing for your tour & dress appropriately. In the case of inclement weather, we make arrangements to go inside many of the stops along the tour. We recommend jackets & umbrellas in the fall/winter. We have a limited supply of ponchos or umbrellas available to use.
